The 35-year-old real estate agent and reality television personality, who shares a 4-year-old son named Legendary Love with the 45-year-old entertainer, addressed the complexities of their situation during a recent appearance on E!’s "Hot Goss" podcast, hosted by Eyal Booker and Lonnie Marts III. During the interview, Tiesi pulled back the curtain on the day-to-day realities of co-parenting alongside multiple women who share children with the high-profile media personality.
When asked by the podcast hosts how she and the other mothers balance their relationships while jointly raising Cannon’s large family, Tiesi made it crystal clear that there is very little coordination or unified structure behind the scenes.
"There is no ‘we’—we don’t balance anything. I try to be nice," she admitted during the candid conversation.
Tiesi openly acknowledged that she is fully aware of how unconventional Cannon’s sprawling family structure appears to the outside world. She noted that, ideally, she would prefer to have a closer, more cohesive relationship with the other mothers for the sake of the children. However, she explained that past efforts to build those bridges have proven exceptionally difficult, leading her to step back to preserve peace.
"I would love to embrace the more, but the relationships with the mothers are, unfortunately, too difficult to do so. We’ve attempted. I think that I’ve tried every which way, and I know how I am, and I’m like, ‘Girl, please don’t take me there because we’ll never come back from here,’" she elaborated.
Despite the interpersonal challenges and the lack of a unified front among the women, Tiesi emphasized that her primary focus remains fixed on her son, Legendary. She expressed a strong desire for her child to maintain positive relationships with his numerous siblings, maintaining that adult friction should never stand in the way of sibling bonds. To achieve this, she believes the responsibility of fostering a supportive environment ultimately falls on the father rather than the mothers.
"I’m just going to remove myself so that the children can have the best relationship. It’s not my responsibility, to be entirely honest. Nick has to step up, and he has to make an environment and support the children," she stated.
While Legendary already belongs to a massive sibling network, Tiesi confirmed that she has closed the chapter on expanding her own immediate family. Jokingly addressing her son’s future, she made it clear that she has no intentions of giving him a biological sibling from her side, preferring instead that he lean into the sizable family tree already established by his father.
"Leggie’s not getting another sibling. I am done. I’m like, ‘You need to go hang out with your 11 other siblings, and Mommy won’t be giving you one,’" she joked.
Nick Cannon’s family tree currently includes 12 children shared with multiple partners. In addition to his son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi, Cannon shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with his ex-wife, pop superstar Mariah Carey. He also shares three children—sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah, along with daughter Powerful Queen—with Brittany Bell. Furthermore, he shares twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, as well as daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, with Abby De La Rosa, and daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole.
Cannon also shares two children with Alyssa Scott. Tragically, their son, Zen, passed away at just 5 months old in December 2021 following a diagnosis of brain cancer. Cannon and Scott later welcomed daughter Halo Marie Cannon in December 2022.
As Tiesi continues to navigate her personal life and co-parenting journey in the public eye, she is simultaneously preparing for her return to the small screen. The real estate professional is set to feature in upcoming episodes of Netflix’s hit reality series "Selling Sunset," which follows the personal and professional lives of high-end luxury real estate agents working at The Oppenheim Group. The show is currently filming its next installment, promising viewers another season of dramatic developments both in and out of the Los Angeles property market.
